Ride Recap: Fun on the trails around Noble Canyon and Becker Lake Saturday night.
Marc lead the way up the powerline trails which aren’t quite rideable yet, another week or two and they’ll be snow free. Visits to the lookout overlooking the Coldstream Valley, Kalamalka Lake and the radio tower overlooking the city before heading back using the trail around Becker Lake.
Lee popped a tire off the bead so some late night tire installation before heading down.
A good ride with some regulars and a few new members. Stay tuned for more night rides!
Check your headlights, we’ll be needing them for this evening ride at Noble Canyon. The ride departs the cattlegaurd at 6:00pm Saturday, April 6.
Unload past the cattleguard then park your car/truck along the road on the highway side of the cattlegaurd.
We’ll explore the Becker Lake side of the canyon and plan on taking in the city lights. Forecast is says showers or rain so bring your wet weather gear.
Rides are open to everyone, we encourage new riders to come out for a couple of rides to meet club members, find new trails and get a sense of the club before joining.
The Vernon ATV Club promotes responsible all terrain vehicle use. Riders must must carry their driver’s license, vehicle registration, and proof of $200,000 liability insurance for riding on forest service roads. Quad riders must wear a helmet, side x side riders aren’t required by law to wear helmets but we recommend they do.
