10:00am Sharp Start Sunday October 4
The weather looks good for Sunday so let’s hit King Eddy for a fun ride with some GPS instruction mixed in and the club providing a hot dog lunch (bring your sticks).
Registration is required by 5:00pm Saturday October 3 via email.
The ride gets underway at 10:00am sharp at King Eddy FSR so be ready to join the safety meeting at 9:45am. Non-members are welcome but you need to sign the waiver.
This is a ride to explore King Eddy with GPS training/instruction mixed in including a challenge to find the lunch spot using your GPS where the club will have the campfire going and free hot dogs.
If you know nothing about GPS please reach out to us before the ride and we’ll share some free apps and tools you can load to use for the ride. We also encourage you to team up for the ride so find that brainy friend who knows way too much about GPS and bring them so you’re not left lost and hungry.
This ride is open to everyone, you don’t need to be a Vernon ATV Club member but we are asking that you register by 5:00pm Saturday October 3.
This is going to be a middle speed ride, we’ll do up to 50km/h on the FSR. A single tank of fuel will be more than enough for the entire day and there will be beginner and some intermediate level obstacles during the ride. The plan is to be back at staging before 5:00pm.
Please message on Facebook or email info@vernonatvclub.ca if you have questions or to register.
