The weather forecast is calling for slightly warmer temperatures (+6 degrees) but there will still be snow at higher elevations so come ready for winter conditions. As always pack a lunch, camera and the safety gear necessary for a ride.

After the ride we head to the clubhouse to decorate and warm up with a big bowl of chili. Phone 250-550-5290 or email [email protected] if you want to come for chili, registration deadline is noon Friday, November 10.

Luck of the Irish Creek Ride

Luck of the Irish Creek Ride with the Vernon ATV Club

Heading out from the staging area on Irish Creek at 10:00am Sunday, November 5, this ride will venture past Little Pinaus lake and wander the trails above the west side of Okanagan Lake.

The forecast is calling for a high of 0 degrees and sunny for Sunday, combine that with the snow anticipated between now and then and it should be a picturesque ride through the fluffy stuff at times (all the time?).

You’ll need to come prepared for winter riding and bring the usual stuff including lunch, your camera and safety gear. We’ll get a fire going at lunch time to warm up and if you want to cook over the campfire.

We will try to find a recreation site on our ride for bathroom facilities.

Rides are open to non-members to come test ride the club for a couple of rides so invite your friends.
