Ride Recap: it’s like we all missed riding this summer. 18 machines and 22 people were out for the ride to break the Irish Creek curse (meaning we made it through to Pinaus Lake!).
A bit of excitement getting past one of the washout spots on the trail but all made it through safely thanks to quick action and nifty winching.
Oh boy are there some strange day names out there!
Meet at Irish Creek Road off Hwy 97 (here’s a map and directions) at 10:00am on Sunday, September 2.
Should be great conditions with the recent rains and cooler temperatures, a perfect segway from hot and smoky to primetime ATV season.
Everyone is welcome on club rides, even if you’re not a member come out to meet new people and find some trails to see if you want to join the club. Rides typically last until mid-afternoon (3 or 4pm) so bring a lunch, riding gear for a range of conditions and safety clothing.
