Ride Report & Photos: 17 machines, 22 people and 1 dog came out for a day riding the muddy and snowy trails of Noble Canyon and Bardolph Lake. We stopped by the Bardolph Lake Rec Site on the way up then headed north east towards Cooper’s Launch. We split up at the 4 way junction after the Bardolph trails to explore the roads to the north near the winter logging while the other group stuck to the low road.
Lunch was had by campfire at Cooper’s Launch overlooking the Lumby valley before we tried a couple of roads but ended up returning on the same trails we rode out. The snow was getting pretty wet on the way back which made it a bit more work but we all made it.
A big thanks to Daniel for making the trek all the way from Barriere/Summerland for the ride, hope to see you again soon!
Nice having Nathan and family along, all 6 together enjoying the outdoors, the big Mule did a great job clawing through cruddy snow conditions.
Ride starts at 10:00am at the bottom of Noble Canyon Rd, heading up the Bardolph Lake side of Noble Canyon this time.
The snow level is raising, who knows how high it will be by the 26th but plan on riding in snow and come prepared for winter conditions. There will be a campfire at lunch so bring something to roast.
We will be passing the Bardolph Lake recreation site going up and coming down if you need an outhouse.
The March Buddy deal is in effect so you don’t need to be a club member to attend the ride and everyone in attendance gets a chance to win a ticket for the ATV/BC raffle of a 2017 CanAm 850 Max XT. Tickets and memberships will be for sale at the ride, tickets are $10 and memberships range from $55 to $95, check https://vernonatvclub.ca/membership/ for more info.
No parking at the cattleguard, unload here then pull your vehicle to the edge of the road to the south (towards the highway) from the cattleguard).
