We came up just short making it to the lookout, no matter with a fun group of riders and a long lunch break just below the howling wind and almost zero visibility where we turned around.
It’s a go, we weren’t sure how much it might snow this week but it looks like there hasn’t been much accumulation at higher elevations yet so we’re going to head to the lookout.
Meet at the pullout on the east side of the Enderby Bridge at 9:00am. For those traveling from Vernon we’ll be leaving the parking lot by Tim Horton’s on 58th Avenue at 8:30am and if you’d like to attend but want to catch a ride email [email protected] or call 250-550-5290.
Not going to sugarcoat this, near the top the road to the lookout is rough but it’s one heck of a view when you get to the top that makes it all worthwhile.
Rides are open to club members, friends, guests and anyone interested in joining us for a ride. All ability levels are welcome, if you encounter a section of trail above your comfort level we’ll help you through or find a way around it. Get in touch if you have any questions!
