2016 Annual Donations
Each year the club and it’s members give to local charities and non-profits. In 2016 the club donated:
- $250 – North Okanagan Hospice Society
- $250 – North Okanagan Youth and Family Services Society
- $250 – Upper Room Mission
- $400 – Vernon Food Bank
- 105lbs of food – Vernon Food Bank
2016 King Eddy Road Cleanup
Starting at the highway members of the club worked there way up both sides of the road all the way to King Edward Lake then hopped over to Kaiser Bill and Bear Lake Recreation sites picking up garbage. The day netted 5 truckloads of garbage weighing 2,900lbs and a burnt travel trailer that went to steel recycling. After dropping the garbage off at the landfill we had a bbq to celebrate the hard work put in by our volunteers.
