2019 Rider Survey Results

Thanks to all who replied to our recent survey. If you recall, we were particularly interested in hearing from members who had not participated in club events. The really interesting finding was that all those who identified as not participating were satisfied with the activities organized by the club. Surprising, but good to know.

Looking at the overall feedback, 40% to 50% of the respondents wanted to see faster rides, Saturday rides, Weekday rides, campouts, and trips to other riding areas within a 2 hour drive. Some of these suggestions are already being implemented and there is more to come as the riding season heats up so read your weekly emails for upcoming events. The weekly email can’t cover those spur-of-the-moment events so sign up for our last-minute notices (subscribe via the form at the bottom of the website) and keep an eye on facebook for club members looking to get together for rides. Suggestions are always welcome and if you have some ideas for destinations, ride routes, etc. please email us at [email protected] and come out to the April 27th club meeting for more info.

Some of the wider-than-trail-width side-by-sides can struggle on some of the narrow trails we use but there was not too much interest in SXS-specific rides. There was not much interest for rides tailored to newbys but we do try to make riders of all abilities feel welcome by watching the pace of the group and helping out over more challenging sections. And if you want faster rides, we can do that too. Perhaps you’d like to volunteer to set the pace?

For those who want to do even more exploring of other riding areas, keep an eye on the events hosted by neighbouring clubs such as Kelowna, Kamloops, Sicamous, Summerland, Revelstoke and other ATVBC clubs

Also, this club runs on the volunteering efforts by all those who participate in club events. If you’re on a club ride please pitch in to help out with clearing trail blockages and assisting your fellow riders.

Thank you!
